Online Safety
Online Safety
At St John's we take internet safety very seriously. We have been working with the children to raise awareness about being safe on the internet and what to do if they encounter a problem.
Below are links to two websites which promote and raise awareness of keeping safe online. The first has information and resources available to children, parents and teachers which help promote a knowledge and understanding of staying safe online.
The second website, CEOP, is a police website. This is a website where a child, with adult support, is able to report any inappropriate or threatening behaviour directed towards them whilst online.
• Think U Know advice on how to keep your child safe while using the internet
• Kidsmart - a site with internet safety cartoons for children, and advice for parents and guardians
• CEOP - Child Exploitation and Online Prevention, news and articles surrounding internet safety
